1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using schooltime.ai (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is designed for use by schools, teachers, parents, and students in grades K–5. Student accounts may only be created by a school administrator or a parent/guardian with parental consent in compliance with COPPA. Users under 13 may not self-register.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@schooltime.ai.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Interfere with the availability or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service without our written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software comprising the Service are owned by schooltime.ai or its licensors. Your school or organisation retains ownership of any content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains how we handle personal data, including our COPPA compliance practices for child users.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, schooltime.ai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms after reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of Delaware.
